Pyramid Power
The POWERhouse in the south of Cairns. Established in 2005, this club is based in beautiful Gordonvale, a sugar town 25 kilometres south of Cairns city.
Based at Power Park, Maher Road, Gordonvale, the team trains and plays on the newest AFL ground in the region, with the awesome mountain, Walsh's Pyramid (922 metres above sea level) dominating the backdrop, making our ground one of the most scenic in Australia.
As well as providing an AFL team for local Gordonvale kids to join, the club also attracts players from a large geographic area. Basically if you want to play AFL you are welcome at Pyramid Power.
Pyramid Power is a developing club who already boast an enormous area of coverage which will see opportunities to play AFL football increase enormously over coming years. So, come and join THE POWER. You'll be switched on to AFL football...forever.
